VTB Card Age Highlighter is a browser extension that highlights ServiceNow Visual Task Board cards based on how long the underlying story has been open.

Data collection

This extension does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, usage data, or ServiceNow business data outside of your own browser and your own ServiceNow instance.

What the extension does

• Reads story metadata (dates and active status) directly from your ServiceNow instance, using your existing logged-in session, in order to compute each card’s age and display a highlight.
• All requests go directly from your browser to your own ServiceNow instance. Nothing is sent to the developer or to any third party.

What is stored, and where

The extension stores only your display preferences — age thresholds, highlight colors, and whether the age indicator is shown — using the browser’s built-in chrome.storage API. This data:

• stays within your browser (and syncs across your own signed-in browser profile, if chrome.storage.sync is enabled by your browser)
• is never transmitted to the developer or any third party
• contains no ServiceNow data and no personal information

Third parties

This extension does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services of any kind, and does not share any data with third parties.
